What is UniversalScores ?

UniversalScores is a web crawler that goes around media websites looking for motorsports timesheets. It stores timesheets for car, bike and kart racing, time trials and qualifies.

How to use UniversalScores

The events are organised by date and type. Newer events are on the top. The timesheets are stored and viewed in the same format regardless of the source.

The search box can find both drivers and events by keywords and dates.

Why create UniversalScores ?

UniversalScores started as a personal tool to compare different forms of motor racing in Australia and Brazil. Since the data is scattered around the web, it is pretty difficult to search for specific events or drivers. And it is even more difficult to compare this data since every website stores them in a different way.

The UniversalScores goal is to store in a systematic and searcheable way as much motor racing data as possible, hopefully from all over the world. And, in the future, analyse this data and generate statistics reports on the events and drivers.

How does UniversalScores work internally ?

UniversalScores is set to look for timesheets on media websites from Brazil and Australia. The data is then analysed and filtered according to drivers and events. The analysed data is stored in a normalised database for easy access.

As the system evolves, it will search for timesheets from other countries as well.

The quality of the information displayed here depends entirely on the quality of the source data. Any problem or suggestion, just contact us.
